Connecting History with Technology

By June 17, 2021 No Comments

We’re thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration with Heritage Park, Canada’s largest living history museum.

When Heritage Park’s Innovation Crossing interpretive center opens in fall 2021, it will feature content developed by the Energyphile and Heritage Park teams and presented on the same software our PhileSpace gallery runs on.

We’ve been working with Heritage Park for over three years to curate and create vignettes for 100 objects from its energy and natural resources collection. You can see a few them already in PhileSpace, including the Cord automobile, McLaughlin top buggy and this Wildfire-branded coal. Visitors to Innovation Crossing will explore Heritage Park’s collection on touchscreen kiosks.

For the full announcement, visit Heritage Park’s news room.

Thanks to Peter Tertzakian and Jeremy Fokkens for photography and Jill Roberts of The Writing Department for writing.

The software platform powering the collection is the brainchild of Peter Tertzakian and developed by Energyphile’s sister company, Collection Science. If you’d like to find out more, including licensing details, contact us.
